Dowel Pins: Check both the engine and the new transmission for dowel pins. You only want one per hole; if both have them, you must remove one so they don't fight each other [00:20].
Alignment: Ensure the torque converter and flywheel are aligned so you can easily install the first bolt once the unit is up [01:01].
Shift Arm: Make sure the shift arm is in the down position before lifting the transmission into place to avoid clearance issues [02:06].

Clearance: Watch out for the crankshaft sensor. The bell housing can easily catch and snap it if you aren't gentle [02:13].
Seating: Maneuver the transmission into the subframe notch and slide it onto the dowel pins until fully seated [02:48].
